Three lay persons who serve on the Administrative Council and are called "Advocates" oversee the ministries of Trinity under the following areas that match our vision statement.
Nurture Advocate - "experiencing the love of God through Jesus Christ"
Outreach Advocate - "sharing God's love in word and deed"
Witness Advocate - "inviting others to faithful living to the Kingdom of God"
The purpose of this structure is to allow ministries to rise from the congregation based upon the gifts and passions of our membership as the Spirit of God moves among us. Our desire is to truly serve Christ from the heart of downtown Durham. We want to be about God's business!
