Trinity's Winter Weather Policy. During the week we follow whatever Durham Public Schools do. If Durham Public Schools are closed, the church offices will also be closed. For those of us who live outside of Durham County, the policy is to use your best judgment. This goes for Sundays as well as during the week: Be smart; if the roads are bad, stay home. Your safety is the most important thing. There is no reason to risk your safety and well-being to come out if the roads are bad and the sidewalks are icy and dangerous. Trinity has never canceled Worship services on Sunday morning, however, this does not mean that you have to risk your safety and well-being to come. We won't hold it against anyone who decides not to risk running into icy, slushy, or snowy roads.
