Scholarships
Every year Trinity has a number of scholarships which are available for students of any age who are undertaking studies in higher education. A description of the various scholarships and application forms can be obtained from the church office or downloaded from the church Web site. Any questions should be directed to the chairman of the scholarship committee, Alex Crowell (acrowell71@gmail.com).
Trinity's 2011 Scholarship recipients are:
Proctor Scholarship -
1) Emily Palmer - The daughter of Ed and Gwen Palmer of Durham, Emily just completed her freshman year at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she is majoring in Global Studies. Emily worked her freshman year at The Daily Tar Heel and will begin an internship with The Carolina Alumni Review this fall.
2) Nathan Cox - The son of the Rev. Jennifer Copeland of Durham, Nathan is a recent graduate of Jordan High School and will attend Furman University in the fall to start a program in computer science.
Fuller Glass Scholarship
Lauren Williams - The daughter of Orlando and Beatriz Gonzalez of Miami, FL, Lauren has completed her second year of study toward the Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at the Duke University School of Medicine. Lauren hopes to specialize in the subfield of pediatric physical therapy and will complete her degree in the Spring of 2012.
General Scholarship
Magan Stubblefield -The daughter of Chris and Julia Keylon of Alcoa, TN, Magan is currently the Director of Christian Nurture at Trinity United Methodist Church and is preparing to enroll at Duke University Divinity School this fall.

Programs
- Provide exam care packages for Trinity's higher education students at the end of the fall and spring semesters.
- Provide lunch once a semester for a group of international students at Duke University (sponsored by one of the campus ministry groups).
- Advertise scholarships available from Trinity and participate in awarding the scholarships.
