Dear friends of Trinity UMC,

On behalf of Open Table Ministry, I want to extend our sincere gratitude for your generosity and hospitality. We successfully launched our short-term emergency shelter on January 1st. Over the course of our first week, we have served an average of 15 individuals each night. The emergency weather shelter hosted at Trinity UMC ensures that our most vulnerable community members have a safe space out of the elements.

We are thrilled to have a team of wonderful staff who will be anchoring our shelter efforts over the coming months. Along with Rev. Carolyn, our Project Coordinators (Katie Hockley & Kendra Jacobs) will lead our shelter staff in providing compassionate and professional services to our neighbors.

As always, please reach out to Rev. Carolyn if you have any questions regarding our shelter project (Carolyn.Schuldt@OpenTableMinistry.org).

I truly hope that each of you knows the lasting impact you are currently making within the life of our community. The hospitality of the Trinity UMC church family ensures that our unsheltered friends will stay safe during the coldest months of the year. We are grateful for your prayers and partnership as we continue to support our unsheltered neighbors.

In Peace & Gratitude,

Drew Woten
