Trinity’s Reopening Task Force has prayerfully approved an optional, outdoor in-person worship service on Pentecost Sunday. We are so excited to be able to worship together for this important Mission Sunday at Trinity!

Join Trinity United Methodist Church for an In-Person Outdoor Service (weather permitting) on May 23 at 9:30 am.

Our number one priority and concern is the health and safety of those who attend. We are monitoring and adhering to all guidelines from our local and state public health officials, as well as the CDC. Of course, your attendance is a personal decision. If you are more comfortable worshiping from home, the service will be live-streamed as usual at www.trinitydurham.org/live.

Here are the safety measures being taken:
1. We will be socially distanced at 6ft apart (measured and marked ahead of time)
2. Masks will be required for the gathering.
3. Be sure to bring a lawn chair (to minimize touching shared surfaces)

In addition to the measures taken for safety for our last outdoor service, we will also be implementing the following measures to ensure your safety:

4. Asking COVID screening questions and take temperatures upon arrival
5. Mapping out where people sit for contact tracing
6. Sending out a congregation-wide email informing them if someone has tested positive

Event Address: 215 N Church St on the East Lawn
