Maundy ThursdayThursday, March 28, 2024 @ 6:00 pm Maundy or Holy Thursday commemorates the Last Supper when Jesus shared the Passover meal with his disciples on the night before he was crucified. In contrast to the joy of Easter morning when we worship our risen Savior, the Maundy Thursday service is solemn, marked by the shadow of Jesus' betrayal. |

CROP Walk Thank You!
I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone involved with Crop Walk this year, from the Women Warriors and their incredible bake sale items to the fantastic walker turnout( 18 strong!!) By the way, 5 miles is no joke!! Everyone’s contributions and commitment to this important cause have been incredible and makes me very proud to be a member of Trinity! I don’t have the final numbers as of yet but I am pretty sure we topped out contributions from last year. I will have the final numbers on Easter Sunday. Then we can all celebrate!! Thank you again! Lights, Camera, Action
In the next few weeks, you may notice our Duke Divinity intern, Liv, with a camera in her hands. She is going to be filming the congregation in action for a series of videos we hope will attract new folks to "Come and See" how Trinity is serving God here in downtown Durham.
Our plan is to create short videos for as many of Trinity's activities as possible. One feature we would like to include in each video is a short statement from a congregation member on why the ministry they are participating in is important to them. Liv will be reaching out to folks to contribute to this effort, but we would welcome volunteers as well. Feel free to talk to Liv or contact me (alex@trinitydurham.org) if you are interested in helping out.
Grace and Peace,
Alex Crowell
