This summer, Trinity UMC is spending June through September in one of the most extraordinary pieces of writing in all of Christian history: Paul's Letter to the Romans.

Theologians have argued about Romans for two thousand years, and for good reason. It gave Augustine his conversion, broke open the Reformation, and brought John Wesley to Aldersgate. It still has something to say to us, here in this moment.

For Sunday, June 7th, please read Romans 4:13–25.  The theme of this text is that "The promise comes through faith, not law—for Abraham and for us."  Click the download below to get the full reading plan.

Come ready to be surprised. Romans has a way of meeting people exactly where they are, and refusing to leave them there.

We hope you’ll join us every Sunday this summer at Trinity. There’s room at this table.
